4. Auction Rules

YourBids provides a platform for buyers and sellers to engage in online auctions. The following rules apply:

For Bidders (Buyers)

  • Bidding is legally binding. Once a bid is placed, you are committed to purchasing if you win.
  • Payment must be completed within 48 hours of winning an auction.
  • A 10% success fee is applied to the final bid amount.
  • Failure to pay may result in account suspension or legal action.

For Sellers

  • Sellers must provide accurate descriptions and images of listed items.
  • A 20% commission is deducted from the final sale price upon a successful sale.
  • Sellers are responsible for shipping items to buyers promptly.
  • Misrepresentation or fraud will result in account termination.

5. Payments & Fees

  • Payments are processed securely through authorized payment gateways.
  • Bidders must pay the total amount, including any applicable fees.
  • Sellers receive payouts after successful transactions, minus applicable commissions.
  • All fees are non-refundable except in cases of fraudulent transactions.

6. Shipping & Delivery

  • Sellers are responsible for shipping the items securely and providing tracking details.
  • Buyers must ensure they provide accurate shipping information.
  • YourBids is not liable for lost, damaged, or delayed shipments.

7. Disputes & Refunds

  • Refunds are only issued in cases of fraud, item misrepresentation, or non-delivery.
  • Buyers must report disputes within 7 days of receiving an item.
  • YourBids may mediate disputes, but resolution is ultimately between buyers and sellers.

8. Prohibited Activities

Users are prohibited from:

  • Engaging in fraudulent activities.
  • Manipulating auction outcomes.
  • Listing illegal or restricted items.
  • Harassing or abusing other users.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or legal action.

9. Limitation of Liability

YourBids provides an auction platform but is not responsible for:

  • The accuracy of item descriptions.
  • Buyer or seller disputes.
  • Any financial losses incurred by users.

Users assume all risks when participating in auctions.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our platform after updates signifies acceptance of the new terms.
